+J.M.J.+ The first Traditional Latin Rite High Mass in Las Cruces, NM in over 50 years! The previous Low Mass hosted earlier in July at Our Lady of Mount Carmel private chapel was attended by over 45 people. This private High Mass was also by invitation only and hosted at a local indoor hall. Approximately ninety persons participated in this historic event that took place on Sunday, September 29th, the feast of the Dedication of St. Michael the Archangel. Many thanks to Fr. Michael Rodriguez who offered the Mass and gave a sermon on the holy angels and St. Michael.
The Las Cruces Traditional Latin Mass Community (otherwise known as the Las Cruces Gregorian Society) is coordinating Latin Masses to be offered regularly in the near future. The goal is the establishment of a Traditional Latin Rite Mission.
Please join us in praying a Saint Joseph novena prayer found in the blue Pieta Prayer Book for all Traditional Latin Mass communities and for their increase, namely, for the Las Cruces area. When the nine days are over it's suggested to start it again as a continuous novena.
God be praised and thank you Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Joseph for your intercession!
May Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary manifest God's will through her glorious intercession!
A video including the sermon will be upcoming.
